MICHAEL GOLDFRIED, Instructor

Michael Goldfried is an improvisor, actor, writer and director with an MFA in directing from Brown University. Since discovering improvisation while attending Vassar College, Michael went on to study improv with Keith Johnstone and perform with BATS in San Francisco, and later UCB, Gotham and Improvolution in New York. In addition to his freelance directing career, Michael teaches improv and character writing at Improvolution, solo performance at the Drama League and is a professor of directing and writing at the School of Visual Arts (SVA).
