iMERGENCE: iMPROVISATION iN BUSiNESS

We are not only improv addicts but also huge proponents for its place in business.  We have had a lot of success working with groups in the corporate, “non theater” sector for some time – both at the Groundlings in LA and here in NY. 

 

In September 2009 we announced the launch of our new endeavor, iMERGENCE.

 

“I” for improv and “emergence” for what is created when individuals and the group are working together for the same goal.  It's when the sum is greater than its parts, and what is created is not something that any one person could have done on their own.  What emerges is NEW, it holds greater intelligence, offers solutions to greater complexity, and allows for more clarity, understanding and productivity.  We have seen this, over and over, with our own eyes, and are doubtless about its potential...AND thrilled at the opportunity to bring the tenets of improv beyond the classroom and into the office!  It is deceptively fun and highly transformative for everyone involved.
